About Me: I graduated from Athens College in Athens, Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. I have been teaching here at ICS for 37 years.

Math: We are now starting Multiplication. It is imperative that the students practice the facts EVERY night. they get very excited to We have progress charts that the students fill in when they have mastered a set. The students get very excited to see how far they can go. Spelling: There is a spelling test every Friday. Social Studies: Our book is mostly about communities and how they began. This year we will focus on historical figures for Catholic Schools’ Week. During Catholic Schools’ week we are taking part in a “Wax Museum.” Come out to see and learn about some important people in history. Language Arts: There is a lot of focus on writing good “third-grade” sentences. This will continue to flow over into all the subject areas. |
